PLA ( Poly-lactic Acid) is a type of thermal-plastic polymer that is produced using organic products. Its'main ingredient is derived from renewable sources like sugar cane, corn starch and cassava roots. The starch is then fermented with the present of microorganisms to form lactic acid. This lactic acid is further polymerized to form PLA resins. With the use of biomass ingredients, PLA is 100% biodegradable and cause absolutely no pollution to the environment.
